Register of Property Agents

The public register of licensed property agents in Tasmania, as published by the Board.

The registers

The Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2016 provides that the Board is to publish the Register. The Register is divided into property agents that conduct business and individual property agents. The current registers are published below (as at 8 October 2026).

Please note: the Property Agents Conducting Business Register does not list all business names used by a property agent — it indicates only one business name. Please contact the Board if further information is required.

Understanding the register

  • Name — the name entered into the registers.
  • Business Name — the name in which the business may operate.
  • Place of Business — the authorised place of business.
  • Lic. Type — the type of licence held by the property agent.
  • Lic. Until — the date the licence will expire.
  • Valid — yes means the licence is currently valid; no means the licence has been surrendered to the Board.

On the register of individual property agents, if the “Business Name” and “Place of Business” fields are blank, the licensee is not currently engaged by a property agent conducting business.
