How the Board publishes its decisions, and a record of disciplinary matters.
When the Board makes a decision it considers could educate the industry and/or stakeholders, a short de-identified case study will be published. However, if it is in the public interest, the Board may publish a full decision or a hybrid format other than a case summary.
In consultation with the Tribunal, the Board publishes Tribunal decisions verbatim, effective from 15 September 2021. The Board reserves the right to publish a decision with redactions or in a hybrid format, clearly indicated as an abridged copy.
The function of the Property Agents Tribunal transitioned to the Tasmanian Civil & Administrative Tribunal (TASCAT) effective 1 July 2025. Following determination of TASCAT matters, decisions are published on the AustLII website and subsequently on the Board’s website.
